Old Hat, New Hat (Board Book)

With a minimum of rhyming words, the Berenstains have created a silly story for early readers to enjoy. A bear with a saggy beat-up hat goes into a store to buy a new one. But nothing the increasingly grumpy sales clerk shows him is right—the hats are "Too big. Too small. Too flat. Too tall." The hats and the refusals get sillier and sillier, and by the time the clerk is bringing in hats by the wheelbarrow, the little bear decides his old hat is "just right!"
